The role of a General Manager at 85C Bakery Cafe is pivotal, focusing on driving sales and profitability while leading a high-performing team. This full-time role requires the General Manager to embody strong leadership by mentoring staff, maintaining open communication, and acting as a liaison between store operations and corporate directives. Key responsibilities include upholding the highest standards of quality, service, and cleanliness (QSC), managing P&Ls effectively, and supporting the company's core vision and directives. The General Manager will oversee recruitment, talent development, and retention, ensuring a diverse and capable workforce. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • two years of store management experience in bakery, restaurant, or fast food
  • excellent communication skills
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • in-depth understanding of 85C products and concepts
  • successful training and operation development experience
  • experience supervising ten or more employees
  • availability for full-time work including nights and weekends
  • ability to perform moderate physical activities such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing and walking for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • AA degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • two years of store management experience in bakery, restaurant, or fast-food
  • excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • excellent interpersonal skills and high self-confidence
  • in-depth understanding of 85C products and future concepts
  • demonstrated success in training, operation development, and customer service
  • experience managing high volume stores and direct supervision of ten or more employees
  • ability to work full-time including nights and weekends
