The role of Restaurant Manager at Raising Cane's is a key leadership position essential for maintaining the restaurant's high standards and smooth daily operations. This full-time position offers a competitive starting pay of $18 per hour, with variations based on location and experience. The Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Leader by managing daily shift operations, ensuring adherence to Raising Cane's policies and culture, and fostering a customer-centric environment. The job demands a hands-on approach in a fast-paced kitchen setting, requiring physical exertion such as walking, standing, lifting, and bending, as well as close interaction with customers. The work environment includes exposure to varied indoor and outdoor temperatures and handling food products, allergens, cleaning agents, and industrial equipment, necessitating the use of personal protective equipment to meet safety standards.
As a Restaurant Manager, you are responsible for managing all operational aspects during your shift, including opening and closing the restaurant. Job Requirements
- must be 18 years of age or older
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, and weekends
- able to travel as needed for work-related functions and training
- must complete all required Raising Cane's company training programs
- 1+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
Job Qualifications
- 1+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
- knowledge and skills in staffing, scheduling, people and cost management
- proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new technology systems quickly
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- able to work independently and collaboratively
- self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic
- detail-oriented and organized to manage multiple priorities
- able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- ensure operations meet Raising Cane's standards in all restaurant zones during a shift
- act as manager on duty and open and close the restaurant
- manage cash handling and ensure accountability
- enforce Raising Cane's policies and standards
- execute shift management meeting Raising Cane's operations and safety standards
- use required tools, forms and logs to support shift execution, document results and take corrective action when needed
- direct crewmembers during a shift
- provide exemplary customer service
- utilize reward and recognition program for crewmembers
- authorize employee functions requiring manager approval
- ensure cleanliness of the restaurant and that the facility is in good working order
- complete other duties as assigned
