As the preferred in-house marketing partner to this retail giant, CDS excels at delivering personalized, person-to-person marketing experiences that drive sales and increase product visibility. The company operates with a commitment to excellence, aiming to bridge the gap between manufacturers, vendors, and consumers by providing stellar services that enhance customer engagement and satisfaction across various product categories. CDS has established itself as a trusted name in the industry, known for its dedication to quality and effective execution of promotional events. They focus on creating dynamic sales activations that not only promote products but also build long-term loyalty and positive relationships with both customers and clients.
The Event Manager role at CDS is a full-time position focused on the recruitment, training, and supervision of in-store product demonstrators who play a crucial role in delivering exceptional consumer experiences. The Event Manager will oversee all aspects of product preparation and presentation, ensuring rigorous food safety and sanitation standards are met. This role requires outstanding leadership skills to effectively manage teams, coordinate with warehouse managers and vendors, and maintain seamless communication across multiple stakeholders. The Event Manager will also participate in new store grand openings, an opportunity to showcase the brand and set a high standard from the outset.
Operating on a set schedule from Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with some flexibility based on operational needs, this position offers an excellent work-life balance alongside comprehensive full-time benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long-term disability coverage, a 401(k) plan, and generous paid time off. The company culture at CDS values strong communication, independent judgment, and proactive problem-solving, ensuring that the Event Manager can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
This role carries significant responsibility for driving the success of marketing events through effective team management and adherence to corporate governance and policies. The Event Manager will collaborate closely with district leadership to analyze event performance metrics such as sales results, labor hours, and operational costs, enabling continuous improvement of services and customer satisfaction. A successful candidate will be adept at supervising, coaching, and motivating part-time staff, fostering a productive and positive work environment that aligns with CDS's mission to provide outstanding in-store marketing activation and customer experiences.
