Job Description
Pinnacle Live is a premium, in-house audiovisual (AV) and event production company operating at some of the most prestigious hotels and resorts throughout North America. Known for delivering top-tier event experiences, Pinnacle Live combines cutting-edge technology with a deeply human touch to ensure every event is executed flawlessly. The company prides itself on three core values: excellence, innovation, and the importance of its people. These principles form the foundation of their commitment to providing exceptional service where outstanding quality is the baseline, not the exception.
As a leader in the AV and event production industry, Pinnacle Live serves a diverse array of clients across various venue types, specializing in creating memorable live experiences that exceed clients' expectations. Their work extends beyond just technical execution to crafting unique, seamless event environments. The company fosters a culture that encourages ownership, growth, and high standards among its team members while embracing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging across the workplace.
The Venue Manager role at Pinnacle Live is a critical leadership position responsible for managing the day-to-day audiovisual operations and service delivery at assigned venues under the guidance of the Venue Director. This full-time, hourly position pays between $33.55 and $37.24 per hour, plus performance-based incentives that reward exceptional work. The Venue Manager serves as the operational leader on the ground, ensuring that all events are delivered according to Pinnacle Live's rigorous standards for quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
The Venue Manager oversees the setup, operation, and strike of AV equipment for live events, supervising both union and non-union labor teams, as well as contract workers. This involves direct coordination with clients to understand their event needs, providing clear instructions on equipment use, and maintaining ongoing communications throughout the event lifecycle to guarantee success. Furthermore, the Venue Manager is tasked with managing venue inventory, maintaining equipment integrity, and upholding organizational safety and cleanliness standards.
Strong technical skills are paramount for success in this role, particularly advanced knowledge of audiovisual equipment in theatrical or live event settings. The ideal candidate brings two to three years of relevant AV and/or hospitality experience and is proficient with common software such as Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Keynote, and internet platforms. Beyond technical expertise, the Venue Manager must demonstrate excellent organizational abilities, planning aptitude, and strong interpersonal communication skills to work effectively both with clients and within the Pinnacle Live team.
Pinnacle Live is a company that values innovation and growth. The Venue Manager role offers numerous opportunities for continuous learning and professional development to stay ahead in the fast-evolving AV industry. This position not only requires technical aptitude but also a dedication to client service and teamwork. The company’s commitment to diversity and inclusion ensures that all team members feel valued and empowered, making Pinnacle Live a welcoming environment where individuals can thrive and contribute their unique perspectives.
In summary, the Venue Manager at Pinnacle Live is a dynamic, hands-on leadership position driving the successful delivery of exceptional AV experiences in highly visible, premium venue settings. This role offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and the chance to be part of an innovative and supportive company that places a high value on excellence, people, and client satisfaction.
