Job Description
This opportunity is offered by a prominent company specializing in organizing and managing large-scale consumer events and trade shows. Renowned for its dedication to delivering exceptional event experiences, the company consistently partners with innovative brands and vendors to execute marketing activations that resonate with wide audiences. With a strong presence in the events and marketing sector, the company emphasizes professionalism, creativity, and operational excellence in all its projects. As part of their team, individuals benefit from a stimulating work environment where strategic event planning meets dynamic execution, fostering career growth in event marketing and project management.
The Event Marketing Project Manager (Contract) role is a critical position within the company, designed to lead the end-to-end management of booth production and onsite execution at a major consumer event scheduled through August 2026. This position offers an hourly wage of $55-60 on a W2 basis, with a commitment of 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday. The role requires someone who thrives under pressure and is adept at coordinating complex event logistics and cross-functional collaboration. Key responsibilities include overseeing booth build and event setup in close partnership with external vendors and internal teams, managing detailed timelines and production milestones, and ensuring seamless coordination of event logistics such as power, lighting, internet, and shipping. The role also demands oversight of marketing collateral to maintain brand consistency throughout the event, supporting onsite execution with staffing and active attendee engagement, and handling real-time troubleshooting to ensure event success. Post-event, the project manager will be responsible for comprehensive reporting to evaluate performance and identify improvements.
This contract role is remote-based with occasional in-person meetings held in Burbank. The onsite presence will be required in Anaheim during the event dates of August 14 to 16. Ideal candidates will bring prior experience managing activations at sizable events or trade shows, exceptional project management capabilities, strong vendor coordination skills, and a highly organized, proactive, and solution-focused approach to work. If you are passionate about driving impactful event experiences and relish managing multifaceted projects in fast-paced environments, this role offers an excellent platform to showcase your expertise and contribute to a high-profile event marketing initiative.
