They are recognized for their commitment to hospitality, professionalism, and intricate attention to detail, serving clients across high-end venues and private residences with a hallmark of excellence in food and beverage service and event logistics. The company culture thrives on innovation, teamwork, and a profound dedication to client satisfaction, making it a sought-after workplace in the San Francisco Bay Area event scene.

This full-time Front-of-House Event Manager position is a pivotal leadership role within Foxtail Catering & Events, focusing on the flawless execution and management of events from inception through completion. Reporting directly to the Senior Front-of-House Event Manager, this role merges hands-on event leadership with critical administrative and operational responsibilities. The successful candidate acts as the onsite authority for assigned events, taking ownership of event success by leading event setup, managing staff performance, and ensuring impeccable guest experiences at every function.

The Front-of-House Event Manager is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and leads teams by example, setting the highest standards for hospitality and professionalism. Key responsibilities include directing the event execution phases, maintaining client and vendor communications, collaborating with culinary leadership for optimal service flow, and overseeing staff during events to ensure seamless operations. Beyond onsite leadership, this role entails administrative duties such as planning, documentation, developing team-based initiatives, and contributing to operational improvements across departments.

Candidates for this role should possess 3 to 5 years of experience in luxury hospitality or event operations, coupled with a proven leadership track record in managing hospitality teams. A sophisticated understanding of food and beverage service and event logistics is essential, alongside exceptional communication, organizational skills, and the ability to remain composed under pressure. Certifications such as the California Food Manager Certification and Responsible Beverage Service Certification are mandatory, and candidates must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $75,000 to $80,000 annually, depending on experience, along with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth within a vibrant company setting.

Foxtail Catering & Events embraces a diverse and inclusive workforce, welcoming candidates of varying backgrounds and experiences to contribute to their dynamic team. The company emphasizes career development, team mentorship, and operational excellence, offering a stimulating and supportive environment for those passionate about delivering world-class hospitality. The role also offers benefits such as paid time off, medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401k program with company matching, commuter benefits, and additional wellness perks. This position is perfect for candidates eager to make a significant impact in luxury event management while growing within a forward-thinking and energetic company.
