Assistant General Manager (AGM)

We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and hospitality-driven Assistant General Manager to help lead our team and support daily operations as we prepare for opening and long-term growth.
Position Overview
The Assistant General Manager works directly with ownership and the General Manager to oversee all front-of-house operations, team leadership, guest experience, and daily restaurant performance.
This role requires someone who thrives in a high-energy environment, leads by example, stays calm under pressure, and understands the importance of both operational excellence and genuine hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Support all daily restaurant operations
- Lead, coach, and motivate FOH staff
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences at all times
- Maintain service standards, cleanliness, and organization
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and training
- Manage floor operations during service
- Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently
- Collaborate with kitchen leadership and bar team
- Monitor labor costs, sales performance, and operational efficiency
- Help maintain inventory and ordering systems
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards
- Assist in building a strong positive culture and team environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience in upscale casual or high-volume restaurants preferred
- Passion for hospitality, food, wine, and guest experience
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve under pressure
- Strong organizational and team management skills
- Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations
- Wine, cocktail, or Mediterranean cuisine knowledge is a plus
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
