Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School is a renowned private school offering career-focused education and housing to students in pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school, founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, provides a nurturing environment where students receive all essential amenities at no cost. They are currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, guiding and supporting students in a family-like setting on campus.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years; both spouses should be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus rules including no alcohol while on duty and limitations on pets; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high integrity and role-model behavior expected; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
