Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering a career-focused education to students in pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, MHS provides housing, meals, and a fully endowed resource-rich environment for both students and staff to thrive. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to guide and nurture a group of students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples who have been legally married for at least two years and are both aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus with limitations on pets; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and to chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high integrity and role model behavior expected; individual employment applications required for both spouses.
