Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School is a renowned private educational institution offering a career-focused education to students from pre-K through 12th grade from underprivileged backgrounds. Established in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school provides housing, meals, and comprehensive support for students and staff to thrive. The school is currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes and guiding a group of students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years; both spouses should be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; abide by campus rules including no smoking, weapons, or alcohol while on duty; limitations on pets with only approved breeds allowed; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity; both spouses must complete an individual employment application
