Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, provides a career-focused education and comprehensive support to students in pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school is fully endowed, covering all costs for students and offering resources for their well-being and success. They are currently seeking dedicated married couples to serve as flex houseparents, nurturing and guiding students in on-campus homes.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; two years of legal marriage for couples; both spouses age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; ability to lead students in devotions and take them to Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED; capacity to lift up to 50 lbs; high integrity and role model behavior; completion of individual employment applications by both spouses
