Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private educational institution founded in 1909, is seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents. This unique role involves providing guidance and a family-like environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds, ensuring their well-being and development within the school’s nurturing community.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; married couples legally married for at least two years; both spouses age 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license; willingness to lead students in daily devotions and attend Judeo-Christian services; no more than three dependent children in the student home; adhere to smoke-free, weapon-free, and alcohol-free policies on campus; limit on approved pets; complete individual employment applications; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; comfortable driving student home vans after certification.
