Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: The Milton Hershey School, located in Hershey, PA, is seeking dedicated married couples to take on the role of Youth Development Specialists. This unique opportunity involves residing in on-campus student homes to provide guidance and support to students from disadvantaged backgrounds, offering a family-like structure, driving responsibilities, medication administration, and budget management within a nurturing environment.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, particularly in under-served settings; two-person job for legally married couples of at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; adherence to campus rules including no alcohol, smoke-free and weapon-free environment; restrictions on pets; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfort in leading daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstration of high integrity as role models for students; completion of individual employment applications by both spouses
