Position: Water Quality Manager, Zone 7
About: Zone 7 Water Agency, located in the Tri-Valley region of the eastern San Francisco Bay Area, provides water on a wholesale basis to several cities and flood-protection services to eastern Alameda County. With approximately 116 full-time employees, the agency operates on an annual budget of $80.3 million dollars and is situated in Livermore, CA, known for its scientific and technological contributions, historic downtown, and surrounding farmlands and ranches.
Requirements: Possession of a Baccalaureate degree in engineering or chemistry; five years of full-time experience in water quality planning and evaluation or environmental engineering, with at least two years in an administrative or supervisory capacity; valid California Certificate of Registration as a Professional Engineer, T-5 Water Treatment Operator’s certification, or Grade IV Water Quality Laboratory Analyst certification; possession of a valid Class C California driver’s license
