Position: VP of Operations
About: Firestone Pacific Foods is a top-tier, efficient processor of frozen fruit that has earned a strong reputation in the market for quality and food safety. The company has sales relationships with leading US and international food retailers and US food service companies. Firestone Pacific Foods is well positioned to achieve high double-digit annual growth in the highest growth frozen fruit category sub-segments including organic, private label, and blended berry products. The company is a fully integrated grower processing operation for domestic and export fruit customers, ensuring quality in every product from the farm where it was grown to the finished product in the consumer’s freezer.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred; 10+ years of leadership experience in operations, manufacturing, or supply chain management; proven track record in multi-team leadership and cross-functional collaboration; strong understanding of manufacturing best practices, Lean, Six Sigma, or related methodologies; strong business acumen with the ability to drive strategic initiatives; excellent leadership and team-building skills; analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail; proven ability to implement process improvements and optimize operations; exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to perform under pressure and drive results in a fast-paced environment; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
