Position: Volunteer & Events Coordinator, WCS
About: Union Gospel Mission (UGM) is a faith-based organization dedicated to serving the poor, homeless, drug addicted, and mentally ill. The mission values a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and upholds a Statement of Faith and Core Values. The position supervises and manages the Volunteer department and Special Events for AOH & WCS, utilizing a High Impact Process for recruitment, selection, and leadership within the ministry.
Requirements: Committed Christian with a mature faith; strong interpersonal skills; ability to honor leadership and ministry objectives; familiarity with UGM’s Core Values; computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft 365, Word, Excel, Outlook; excellent communication skills; self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team; minimum 3 years of sobriety; trustworthy, honest, and reliable; valid Washington or Idaho driver’s license, yearly TB clearance, and criminal background check clearance required.
