About: Tortas Frontera, located at HMSHost in Chicago O’Hare International Airport, is seeking a dedicated Tournade Cook to join their team. The role involves coordinating food production, preparation, and customer service, ensuring high-quality food is served to customers in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements: Requires minimum of 3-4 years of closely related cooking experience in a high-volume casual dining restaurant environment; advanced food knowledge including Soups, Sauces, and Pantry; excellent knife cutting skills; food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards; working knowledge of kitchen equipment and organic ingredients; ability to adapt to new menu items and cooking techniques; excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; physical ability to lift and move 40 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in hot environments.
