Position: Top of The Mark Manager – InterContinental Mark Hopkins
About: The Top of the Mark Lounge Manager will lead in providing day-to-day leadership and direction by maximizing financial returns, driving development of people, creating and maintaining a consistent quality service, and operating standards as established by the InterContinental Brand. Will lead in creating seasonal cocktail menu; collaborate with the Executive Chef in food (appetizer) menu pairing. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.
Requirements: Some college and/or advanced training in food and beverage management; Two to four years related experience, including management experience within a large full-service luxury hotel or resort operation is preferred; Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification in Hotel Management, culinary arts, or related field preferred; Strong understanding of business management and accounting principles; Excellent computer, problem-solving, and customer service skills; Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to diffuse tense situations and resolve conflicts; Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays; Effectively delegate responsibilities and maximize resources.
