Position: Third Cook
About: HMSHost at Atlanta Airport is seeking a Third Cook to join their team. The Third Cook will be responsible for food production, preparation, and presentation, ensuring high-quality service to customers. This is a non-exempt position reporting to the Manager, Assistant Manager, or Operations Director.
Requirements: Requires 1-2 years of culinary experience; experience in a high-volume casual dining restaurant preferred; introductory level food knowledge; basic knife cutting skills; knowledge of dry and moist cooking methods; food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards; working knowledge of kitchen equipment; adaptability to new menu items and cooking techniques; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; good communication and customer service skills; ability to lift and/or move 40 lbs; ability to bend, twist, and stand for extended periods; willingness to work in a hot environment
