Position: Third Cook
About: The Pecan at HMSHost located at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Concourse C, Gate C04, 6000 North Terminal Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30337 is seeking a Third Cook to join their team. The Third Cook will be responsible for food production, preparation, and presentation, ensuring high-quality service to customers and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. This position reports to the Manager, Assistant Manager, or Operations Director based on local requirements.
Requirements: Requires 1-2 years of culinary experience in a high-volume casual dining environment; introductory level food knowledge; basic knife cutting skills; knowledge of dry and moist cooking methods; food preparation skills and understanding of HACCP standards; familiarity with kitchen equipment such as grill, fryer, oven, and slicer; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; good communication and customer service skills; physical ability to lift and move 40 lbs, bend, twist, and stand for extended periods; comfortable working in a hot and wet environment.
