Position: The Wildbirch Hotel – Executive Chef
About: The Wildbirch Hotel, located in Alaska, is seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead and oversee all culinary operations, focusing on delivering exceptional dining experiences inspired by local ingredients and Alaska’s rich culture. Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; Culinary Degree or related degree preferred; 3-5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a hotel or upscale restaurant environment; advanced knowledge of kitchen management software and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills; excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to lead and inspire kitchen staff to deliver consistent, high-quality dishes; passion for local ingredients, Alaska culture, and maximizing profitability through food cost control and waste management; service-oriented mindset and commitment to guest satisfaction; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; alignment with The Wildbirch Hotel’s brand and vision; attendance at hotel meetings and contribution to continuous improvement initiatives
