Position: Territory Manager – NYC
About: The company is seeking a Sales Representative to foster customer relationships, manage deliveries, communicate accounts receivable, develop new business, and drive to customers. The role involves no direct reports and requires interactions with various internal and external stakeholders. Work environment includes field visits in varying weather conditions. Minimum qualifications include 1+ year of sales experience, preferred experience in foodservice industry, strong communication skills, ability to build relationships and cold call, customer service skills, and proficiency in computer tools. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license in good standing. Physical qualifications involve standing, walking, driving, and lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and location, with an expected base rate ranging from $50,000.00 to $95,000.00. Incentive compensation is included, along with benefits like health insurance, retirement benefits, paid time off, and life insurance.
Requirements: HS Diploma or equivalent; 1+ year of sales experience preferred; Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred; Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities; Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business; Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills; Competitive spirit and results-driven mentality; Problem-solving ability/organization and negotiation skills; Team-up mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders; Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office products – Experience using Customer relationship management tools preferred (i.e., Salesforce).
