About: The Division of Youth Services (DYS) provides a continuum of residential and non-residential services encompassing juvenile detention, commitment, and parole in Colorado. DYS operates secure facilities serving youth between 10 and 21 years old, oversees private residential service providers, and manages the Colorado Youth Detention Continuum. The division also administers juvenile parole services statewide.
Requirements: High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED); four (4) years of professional experience in a related field; additional education can substitute for experience; must be at least 21 years old; completion of DYS Pre-service Training Academy and annual training; disclosure of past disciplinary actions if applicable
