Position: Sushi Sous Chef
About: Sushi by Scratch Restaurants is a growing company seeking capable and talented chefs to open new locations. We are currently looking for a Sous Chef to help run a Michelin aspiring restaurant.
Requirements: Supervisory experience required; Previous Sous Sushi Chef (or comparable leadership role) experience in a restaurant environment; Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a professional and hospitality-driven restaurant; Certified in safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures; Proficient in English, professional communication, math, and computer skills; Ability to work long hours standing, reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds; Neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance; Problem-solving skills; Strong leadership ability with minimal guidance
