Position: Sushi Cook
About: The Sushi Cook position involves producing and directing the daily food production at an outlet, with the ability to assume strategic functions of a Sushi Master Cook when needed. The key roles include being a leader, teacher, trainer, team player, mentor, culinarian, and communicator.
Requirements: Four or more years experience in hotel restaurant/casino outlets or individual restaurants in high volume areas such as Room Service, Coffee Shop, Buffet, Banquet, Quick Service, Sushi, etc.; familiarity with specialized cuisine for the outlet, emphasizing high volume and quality; high school graduate or GED or culinary apprenticeship or culinary school graduate (preferred); working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel (preferred); background in pre and post-opening of hotel/casinos or major restaurants (preferred).
