Position: Sushi Cook
About: Earls is seeking motivated Sushi Cooks (part-time and full-time positions available) to join their kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and hospitality, a commitment to excellence, and a desire to learn and grow, creating unforgettable dining experiences for guests through culinary masterpieces.
Requirements: Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience as a Sushi Cook in a high-volume, high-quality sushi restaurant; Extensive knowledge of sushi preparation techniques, including knife skills, fish butchery, rice preparation, and plating; Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices, particularly with raw fish and seafood; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high standards; Creativity and passion for sushi with a commitment to continuous learning and innovation; Excellent communication and teamwork skills; A commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging experience for team members and guests; A willingness to learn and an openness to feedback, coaching, and mentorship; Certification(s) to responsibly work in and create a safe and clean environment for food production and consumption is a bonus; Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required; The ability to legally work in the USA.
