Position: Sushi Cook
About: Our restaurant, known for its exceptional sushi bar and high-quality Japanese cuisine, is seeking a skilled and experienced Sushi Cook to join our team. The restaurant offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where attention to detail and quality are paramount in delivering an outstanding culinary experience to our guests.
Requirements: At least two years of sushi bar working experience in high-volume cooking; Extensive knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and kitchen equipment; Strong knowledge of Japanese seafood, fish, and terminology; Strong written and verbal communication skills; High school diploma or equivalent; Polished appearance and demeanor; Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge of company and department rules and regulations; Food Handler Card is required upon employment; Available to work scheduled shifts including mornings, lunches, nights, weekends, holidays, offsite parties, and overtime when needed
