Position: Sushi Chef Kanki Durham
About: Kanki Home of Steaks and Sushi, a vibrant restaurant known for its exquisite sushi and steak dishes, is seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting authentic sushi and engaging with guests in a welcoming manner under the guidance of our Senior Chief Sushi Chef.
Requirements: Must be able to make Sushi and Sashimi dishes according to company recipes; Must have a great entertaining personality to meet, greet, and chat with sushi guests; Must be able to follow instructions from our Senior Chief Sushi Chef; Must be able to clean fish from whole; Must keep working area in a clean, neat, and organized manner; Must follow all North Carolina Sanitation laws; Being Serv Safe Certified would be a plus; Must have knowledge of Japanese Culture and Sushi Origins; Must be creative in Sushi presentation
