Position: Sushi Chef job
About: A high-end restaurant seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to create exceptional dining experiences through the preparation of high-quality sushi and sashimi using traditional techniques and the freshest ingredients. The chef will collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop seasonal and specialty menus while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and taste, and interacting with guests to deliver personalized dining experiences.
Requirements: Proven experience as a Sushi Chef in a high-end restaurant, hotel, or country club setting; extensive knowledge of sushi preparation, knife skills, and ingredient selection; ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail; strong understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines; excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; culinary degree or relevant certifications preferred but not required
