Position: Suppression Technician
About: Johnson Controls International plc. is seeking a reliable and skilled technician to perform service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems, Suppression Gas Systems, and other related building system products at customer sites. The role involves managing daily service calls, troubleshooting, installations, and interpreting technical documentation. Participation in an on-call rotation for emergency services is required.
Requirements: Mechanical/electrical background needed; experience with extinguishers, kitchen system, and emergency/exit light inspections; excellent communication and organizational skills; outstanding customer-facing service and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook; preferred qualifications include Manufacturer certifications (e.g., ANSUL, Kiddie PyroChem); valid US driver’s license
