Position: Supervisor, Nutrition Services
About: Supervisor, Nutrition Services position at Alberta Kitchen in NE Portland with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Cascadia Health delivers integrated mental health and addiction services, primary care, and housing to promote hope and support the well-being of the communities served. The Nutrition Services Supervisor provides oversight, support, and monitoring to central kitchen employees, ensures compliance with sanitation and health standards, and leads staff training and supervision. They are responsible for the daily operations of the central kitchen and maintaining relationships with external partners.
Requirements: Required: Culinary Arts or Bachelor’s Degree OR 5 years professional cooking experience; Three years of supervisory experience in an institutional setting with high volume cooking preferred. Effective communication, active listening skills, interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team, operate computer hardware and software. Must possess a valid driver’s license, ability to travel to multiple locations in the Portland Metro area, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire.
