Position: Supervisor
About: Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital is seeking a dedicated RN Clinical Unit Supervisor to oversee Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patient care, ensuring high-quality nursing practices and compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves managing staffing, providing direct patient care, and collaborating with the Nurse Manager to advocate for patients and support the hospital’s mission and strategic goals.
Requirements: Bachelor of Sciences degree in nursing; minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience in Medical/Surgical/Telemetry nursing with at least one (1) year of Clinical Unit Supervisor experience; current California Nursing license; certification in Medical/Surgical Nursing preferred; basic EKG competence; bilingual skills preferred (Spanish); basic computer skills; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification; experience with Electronic Medical Record preferred.
