Position: Supervisor
About: Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital is looking for a skilled and experienced Clinical Unit Supervisor in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing to oversee patient care and staff management, ensuring high-quality patient-centered care based on the Watson Model of Care. The role involves promoting staff development and upholding safety standards to enhance patient satisfaction and advocacy under the direction of the Nurse Manager and Director for Medical Surgical Nursing.
Requirements: Bachelor of Sciences degree in nursing; minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience in Medical/Surgical/Telemetry nursing; minimum one year of Clinical Unit Supervisor experience; current California Nursing license; certification in Medical/Surgical Nursing preferred; basic EKG competence; bilingual skills preferred (Spanish); basic computer skills; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification; experience with Electronic Medical Record preferred
