Position: Substitute Culinary Instructor
About: Hot Bread Kitchen is a culinary training organization in New York City dedicated to creating economic opportunities for women, gender-expansive people, immigrants, and individuals of color through workforce training programs, job placement, and food entrepreneurship initiatives. They provide support and guidance within the food industry to bring about positive change and advancement.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; at least 3 years of professional experience in a restaurant kitchen as a cook; minimum of 1 year teaching/training experience in a culinary setting; ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds; demonstrated leadership skills and attention to detail; excellent written and verbal communication skills; general computer proficiency
