Position: Store Chef
About: New Seasons Market, located in Oregon/SW Washington, is seeking a Store Chef for their Prepared Foods department. The Store Chef will partner with the Prepared Foods Manager to manage the department and staff, ensuring financial stewardship, customer service, food safety, and work safety.
Requirements: 3 years of food production, kitchen, or catering management experience required; retail or grocery experience preferred; demonstrated understanding of culinary terminology and techniques; previous ordering/inventory management experience required; solid knife skills required; basic to intermediate math and computation skills required; intermediate to advanced computer proficiency required; skills to manage financial results, plan, prioritize, and delegate work; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to maintain a flexible schedule; ability to reliably meet required work schedule and adhere to company attendance policy
