Position: Statehouse Restaurant General Manager
About: The Edgewater’s flagship restaurant, The Statehouse, Augie’s Tavern, and hotel In-Room-Dining provide a signature Madison dining experience with an upscale yet approachable atmosphere, offering modern American cuisine with stunning views of Lake Mendota from Madison’s downtown area.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, restaurant management or equivalent; flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays; 2+ years of leadership and restaurant management experience; strong interpersonal and leadership skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities; effective communication with guests and staff; exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills; proficiency in general restaurant operations, financial statements, and labor productivity; ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs; Food Manager Certification (Preferred); 2+ years of previous hotel food and beverage service (Preferred); knowledge of boat safety and handling (Preferred)
