Position: Starlite Sous Chef
About: The Starlite Sous Chef at The Beacon Grand in San Francisco is responsible for assisting in the direction and administration of the planning, preparation, production, and control of all culinary operations in the hotel. The hotel offers modern design with restored architectural details, creating a unique and personalized experience for guests.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role; Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen equipment; Excellent leadership and organizational skills; Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment; Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures; Knowledge of best practices for training kitchen staff and implementing kitchen procedures; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work well as part of a team; Must adhere to health and safety standards
