Requirements: Previous comparable experience; Promote trust and respect among associates; Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated; Gain and maintain knowledge of products sold within the department; Collaborate with associates and promote teamwork; Establish performance goals for department and empower associates; Develop adequate scheduling to manage customer volume; Train and develop associates on job performance; Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws; Prepare beverage selections to recipe and standards; Tender transactions using company best practices; Offer product samples to customers; Inform customers about coffee shop specials; Provide customers with fresh products in correct portion sizes; Recommend coffee shop items to customers; Use all equipment in coffee shop according to guidelines; Adequately prepare, package, label, and inventory ingredients; Check product quality and ensure freshness; Properly use kitchen equipment and tools; Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise; Report product ordering/shipping discrepancies; Display a positive attitude; Stay current with ads and promotions; Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines; Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers; Comply with safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions; Practice preventive maintenance on equipment; Notify management of accidents, safety risks, or illegal activity; Perform essential functions with or without accommodation
