Position: Sr Sous Chef- Banquets
About: Responsible for planning, set-up, food preparation, organization, execution, sanitation, and production of food items for assigned Outlets, Banquet, and private party events. Looking for professionals that possess trust, attitude, ownership, are solutions-oriented, and accountable. Examples of duties include maintaining product consistency, overseeing private dining menu production, coordinating service, inventory management, supporting the Banquet Chef, coaching staff, and ensuring compliance with policies. Position requires speaking, reading, writing English, professional demeanor, 4 years of relevant luxury establishment experience, 2 years as a Banquet Sous Chef, positive attitude, sense of urgency, HACCP knowledge, culinary skills, creativity, computer literacy, leadership skills, financial understanding. High School diploma or equivalent required, Associate Degree in Culinary and/or Hospitality Management preferred. Physical and mental demands include agility, strength, clear thinking under stress, multitasking, standing for extended periods, and performing in extreme environments.
Requirements: Ability to speak, read, write and understand English; professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment; 4 years of experience in relevant luxury establishments; 2 years as a Banquet Sous Chef in a high-volume operation; positive attitude, integrity, and dedication to quality and excellent presentation; sense of urgency and thrive in a fast-paced environment; extensive HACCP knowledge and required certifications; excellent culinary skills and techniques and highly creative; computer literate; mature leadership skills; advanced food and beverage financial understanding
