About: US Foods is seeking a dedicated and experienced Transportation Supervisor to lead and oversee all safety, service, and cost targets within the Transportation department. The role involves championing safety procedures, developing and coaching transportation managers and drivers, building high-performing teams, and ensuring delivery reliability and customer satisfaction by implementing efficient production flow processes and cost reduction strategies in line with business objectives. The position also entails analyzing performance measures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and resolving issues to achieve productivity goals.
Requirements: Minimum of five years of experience in transportation/delivery supervision required; broad knowledge of transportation/delivery operations, methods, and procedures; strong leadership, communication, and people development skills; ability to interpret financial and operational data; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
