Position: Sr. Food Services Worker/Assistant Supervisor (PM) – Cross Village Restaurants
About: This position serves as a first-line assistant supervisor responsible for preparation, production, and/or serving of food items for Cross Village Restaurants. The role involves assisting with training students and full-time team members, holding team members accountable, and acting as the lead for certain assignments and team members. Other responsibilities include determining work priorities, planning cooking schedules, ensuring food quality, maintaining inventory, operating kitchen equipment, and adhering to quality standards. Employees on a 5-hour shift receive a free meal and uniforms are provided at no cost for this closing shift role at Cross Village Restaurants in Oklahoma.
Requirements: High school diploma, GED, or graduate of Culinary School; 12 months of restaurant/customer service experience; Proficiency in using kitchen tools and equipment, safe food handling, basic math, reading, and communication skills; Knowledge of nutrition, portion control, time management, and attendance; Must be 18 years or older; Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 100 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures and conditions; Completion of Safe Food Handling and Sanitation Certification upon employment; General supervision from supervisor and restaurant manager; Background check required
