About: Berkeley Dining, part of the University of California, Berkeley, is seeking a Sr. Executive Chef to oversee culinary activities across multiple locations, ensuring high food quality, exceptional guest experiences, and operational excellence. The dining program focuses on culinary excellence, social responsibility, and supporting the living/learning environment of customers, serving over 5 million meals annually in various dining settings.
Requirements: Advanced knowledge in food preparation, nutrition, and sanitation regulations; advanced verbal and written communication skills; decision-making and reasoning skills; intermediate computer application skills; culinary expertise in high-volume, multi-unit food service operations; culinary degree and/or equivalent experience/training; ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date.
