Position: Specialty Sous Chef
About: We are a high-end culinary establishment situated on the picturesque Caribbean Islands, and we are currently in search of a talented and passionate Specialty Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Head Chef to create exceptional dishes and uphold the culinary vision of our fine dining establishment.
Requirements: Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role within a fine dining or gastro-molecular establishment, specializing in international cuisine (e.g., Italian, French, Asian, vegetarian, etc.); A culinary degree or relevant professional certification from a recognized institution is highly preferred; Extensive international experience in specialty cuisine, with a strong understanding of diverse culinary traditions, regional ingredients, and global flavor profiles; Expertise in advanced culinary techniques, molecular gastronomy, and innovative plating to elevate the dining experience; Strong knowledge of flavor pairing, ingredient sourcing, and seasonal menu development, blending traditional techniques with modernist approaches; Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and inspire diverse kitchen teams; Proven ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment while maintaining precision, efficiency, and creativity.
