Position: Specialty Associate Chef, Concessions
About: Vanderbilt Concessions is focused on providing elevated concessions offerings to premium seating guests within Vanderbilt athletic venues. The Specialty Associate Chef, Concessions position will be responsible for pre-event food preparation, event day execution, and ensuring proper storage and movement of food products in the operation. This role reports to the Concessions Unit General Manager and collaborates with the concessions team to deliver excellent food offerings at Vanderbilt athletic venues.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; an associate’s degree in Culinary Arts from an accredited institution preferred. Minimum of two years’ experience in the food & beverage industry required; experience in high volume catering or stadium environment strongly preferred. Operational knowledge of kitchen equipment, strong communication skills, ability to meet deadlines, and accountability for assets necessary.
