Position: Specialized Youth Instructor – Early Learning/Preschool (SUMMER CAMP)
About: The City of Fort Collins Recreation Department is seeking Specialized Youth Instructors for their Funtime Adventures Summer Camp program. The program serves children ages 4-5 with a focus on development through child-directed discovery and teacher-led activities. The City offers a variety of early learning and preschool readiness programs and enrichment activities for children ages 0-6.
Requirements: Minimum age of 16 for Early Childhood Teacher Aides, 18 for Early Childhood Assistant Teachers and Lead Teachers; relevant degree or specific education requirements based on the position; completion of required health and safety certifications; ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues; problem-solving skills and ability to handle diverse needs of children; must pass background check and clear state and federal fingerprinting.
