Position: Sous Chef (West Campus)

About: Oakwood Village is seeking a meticulous and skilled Sous Chef to oversee food service operations in a professional healthcare facility setting. The Sous Chef will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, temperature, and presentation of all food items, working closely with the Executive Chef to meet state and departmental standards.

Requirements: Minimum of two years formal culinary training program with degree or equivalent experience; Minimum of two years supervisory experience in a professional food service operation; Food service background in large production food preparation, hospital, or healthcare facility; Knowledge of State and county regulations and kitchen sanitation procedures; ServSafe certified or the ability to obtain certification within six months of employment; Dietary experience desired, but not required; Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; Strong organizational skills and ability to work well under pressure; Proficiency in the safe use of kitchen equipment, commercial dish machines, and technology.
