Position: Sous Chef – The Harpeth Hotel
About: The Harpeth Hotel, located in historic downtown Franklin and part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, offers 119 elegantly appointed guest rooms with views of historic Franklin or a tranquil courtyard. The hotel boasts 55-inch HDTVs, in-room coffee, WiFi, flexible workspace, robes, slippers, oversized bathrooms, and closets. It also provides over 5,000 square feet of event space, a hand-crafted cocktail bar at 1799, and renowned southern cuisine at 1799 restaurant. Requirements: Two to four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience; Minimum of five years’ culinary experience in a related position; Ability to perform critical analysis and manage a wide range of information; Advanced knowledge of business and management principles; Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills; Ability to delegate, manage manpower, and organize complex projects; Ability to listen effectively and operate within guidelines; Strong communication and leadership skills
