Position: Sous Chef, SLS South Beach
About: SLS South Beach is known for offering a hip, cutting-edge experience in the hotel industry, located in the vibrant city of Miami. They are currently seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to join their Culinary Team at SLS South Beach in Miami.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum three (3+) years of experience in a supervisory role in a restaurant kitchen; Sous Chef preferred; at least 21 years of age or older; strong leadership skills and ability to mentor a diverse culinary team; excellent organizational and time management skills; experience in a fast-paced customer service driven environment; current hospitality industry experience in a kitchen; proficient in computer systems such as Opera, GoConcierge, HotSOS, Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook; ability to multitask, work under pressure, and pay attention to detail; effective communication skills in English; ability to work in various environments and situations; knowledge of equal employment opportunity laws and regulations
