Position: Sous Chef – Ruscello – Ala Moana
About: As a chef on the Restaurant team at Nordstrom, you will play a dual role – part kitchen genius, part artist. You will lead the kitchen crew in scratch cooking recipes and preparing specials, while also focusing on staff development and business goals. This role requires ensuring kitchen cleanliness and compliance with company procedures.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years experience in full-service upscale restaurant management; passion and knowledge about quality food and exceptional customer service; strong written and verbal communication skills, basic accounting skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work a flexible schedule; valid food handler’s card as required by local and state regulations
