Position: Sous Chef – Pastry
About: Universal Orlando Resort is seeking a Sous Chef – Pastry to supervise the team and production in the Bakery, ensuring the complete program and operation of baked goods and products for the resort. The role involves managing the bakery program, providing coaching to team members, maintaining equipment, and upholding food safety standards.
Requirements: Education: Culinary degree or Chef’s Apprentice preferred; Experience: 3+ years in a high-volume bakery production facility, 1+ year of supervisory experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience; Additional Information: Experience working with chocolate, laminated dough, sugar art, cake decorating, and scratch baking (leavened dough) preferred.
